This is interesting - age can #encrypt a file to an #SSH key. Thus, it can be used to easily encrypt a file to a #Github user.

This is possible because a user's public SSH keys are visible at `github.com/username.keys`. I've tested this with #Gitea, and it seems it also makes public SSH keys visible by default.

Gelegentlich möchte ich nur einzelne Dateien per AES verschlüsseln. Geht ja gut mit 7-Zip (bzw. ist in meinem Directory Opus-Dateimanager eingebaut). Für Leute, denen das zu "nerdig" ist, gibt es eine 1-Klick-Lösung mit "AES Crypt": einfach den Punkt im Kontextmenü auswählen. Entschlüsselung klappt damit auch (man kann aber auch alle anderen Tools verwenden)

this would take out instances and breaches from releasing your important details as we could foster a norm of secure end to end encryption for messaging directly.

Another Notes app - программа заметок, 15 января 2023 годаобновилась до версии 1.5.1 (на F-Droid @fdroidorg всё еще 1.5.0).
Так вот в этом обновлении добавили защиту экспортируемого файла шифрованием!
Это конечно не функция шифрования в программе, но кому-то будет очень полезно.
