@dramypsyd or one can forward an agenda by editing other people's work that we gain rights to. The other day my 83yo mom watched Castaway with my kids, when I joined them my mom said; "this is clear different from when I watched it on TV,.there're a lot more scenes!"
It turns out that she watches it on a Ted Turner controlled station that removed any scene with a "cuss word" in it vs my DVD copy.
So editing and altering can go in more than one conceptual direction.
