Having been homeless for a year or two in my teens I understand their posts but yours aren't informed by either reality, science or empathy. It's a difficult problem, not black and white at all and individual, not generalizable. Seriously, reconsider your stance on this issue.

I have in my life been _technically_ homeless, but I have never gone a night without shelter, I've never been *actually* homeless.

Right now I'm in my warm house, my belly is full, I am clean. But I'm in that state of tiredness in which one feels cold. I am in no danger.

There are so many people who are without shelter, truly #homeless. Hungry, unclean, exposed. And I have no doubt that they are more tired than I.

How cold must they be?

I believe that a society that leaves people homeless, a society in which a person can fall into #homelessness, is a society at fault, in failure.

Nobody, no matter what, should be put in that position. Nobody should be abandoned to homelessness and starvation. Let alone in one of the wealthiest countries in the world.

We must #EndHomelessness. Society must provide #HousingForAll. There can be no excuse.

Bravo for this post. Ask the Rightligious Christian organization called "Sunday Breakfast Mission" and they would add isolation to the list.

One of their programs to "help" people that are poor, homeless and struggle with addiction requires participants to give up cell phones and have no contact with the outside world, including loved ones.

I guess it's easier to brainwash people that way.
