Finally got round to working out my albums of the year! For me this was the best year since the 90s for music. So many great albums - most of the top 10 would be in my top 2 in most recent years.

I listened to more music in 2022 than any of the last 17 years too (my last.fm goes back 17 years, that's how I know) and I think I was constantly listening to new music in the last three months, day and night.

2022 has been a year of gradually returning to a new normal to me.

First research trip abroad to Riese&Müller in Darmstadt and Messe Frankfurt in February, another one to Lazer Helmets in Mechelen, Shimano's Experience Center in Valkenburg and Urban Arrow in Amsterdam in March, the premiere of #Eurobike show in Frankfurt am Main in July, the #Bambole openair music festival in early August and the first trip to #Taiwan in three years' time in November.
