My second favorite YouTube video of 2022 is David Bennett's homage to Paul Davids' guitar intros but on piano.

This really is fantastic with some beautiful piano and brilliant, seamless choices to keep the intros flowing in a medley.

Again the practice and prep this must have taken to get in one take is mind boggling!

Paul Davids is one of my favorite guitar YouTubers. Whether you play guitar or not it's just fantastic to appreciate his one-take feat of intros played seamlessly from the 50s to modern day.

Terrible time of year when all that's left is to think about compiling a top 20 that most people won't pay much attention to and then I'll get annoyed in, like, 5 years because everyone slept on #Motomami this year.

Anyway not sure if this'll make it in but who knows what this period of contrition and reflection will bring?

I dunno, feels like for me 2022 has not been a good year for new musical releases. There’s a few tunes that standout and maybe one or two albums, but on the whole I’ve enjoyed music from past years - including some incredible 21, 20 and 19 things I only discovered this year - much more than new music released in 22. #music #EndOfYearLists

I've spent the bulk of 2022 pretty much engrossed in the local scene, which means I have missed out on so much music of the last 12 months. The end of year lists are coming, but anyone want to jump the gun and give me some recommendations of albums from 2022?
