1.2 million Arabs lived in the Israel/Palestine region at the time of partition. Between 472,000 and 711,000 of them fled as war broke out (despite Israel pleading with them to remain).
160,000 Arabs remained in the State of Israel and were granted full citizenship.
This meant that there were almost twice as many Jewish refugees as there were Palestinian, yet the world is silent to the plight of these #Jewish #refugees.
