Tidal energy should be the base load provider for #Decarbonise energy supply in the UK. But it needs government to provide a stable commercial environment to allow the technology to move from the trial stage to large scale deployment. And, it's already cheaper than nuclear.

Hello, at the end of last year, I retired from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, where I was the lead subject matter expert for energy-related carbon dioxide for the last 20 years.
