A very exciting Sunday: swapped out my gas stove for full electric with induction hobs! The most satisfying moment was when the gas engineer capped off the end of the pipe and made sure there were no leaks. My kitchen is now emissions free - no need for a carbon monoxide detector.

Next step is to swap out the gas boiler for a heat pump, hopefully within the next couple of months, and then we can disconnect the gas supply.

That's not a rigorous calculation. How many TW are "world's energy needs" exactly? Today's world energy consumption? If so, the so called "renewables" cannot reach the present levels of energy that we are consuming. In that sense your phrase is highly misleading.
