They also secured a $12.5M from senior notes.
Seems like Astra is refocusing its resources on making as much money as possible in the short term so they can sustain their operations.
They currently have 278+ orders for their space systems segment which represents +$70M in revenue.
Time will tell if they survive 2024.

But (since I do all the cooking), I do tend to get mildly #irritated when things I expect to be in a certain place are no longer in a certain place and I have to hunt for them. Usually while something critical is happening on the stove.

It might be in the same league as, oh, say #internal #combustion #engines—and those have done a hell of a lot of damage. But they haven’t done it by ushering in the #apocalypse. Instead the damage is from slow, creeping, cumulative change where the effect of any one individual event is too small to measure.
So I really think the focus on world-ending scenarios takes away from the conversations we need to be having. This reminds me a lot of the simmering “how far is too far” #genetics debate, especially the kibitzing from “#ethicists” with no understanding of the #biology and an #ethical sense that isn’t nearly as developed as they think it is. There are conversations on that topic I’d like to have without the constant Greek chorus of “#Frankenstein! #Gattaca! #JurassicPark!”

Panavia Tornado F.3 The Tornado GR.1 was originally produced by the European multi-national Panavia concern as a 'strike' aircraft. However, the Royal Air Force also needed an air defence fighter, capable of defending U.K. airspace. Redesign, including a lengthened fuselage, new radar, air-to-air missiles, and engines re-worked for higher altitude operations, gave rise to the Tornado F.2. Sadly, the new radar wasn't ready in time for this aircraft, which meant that early examples flew with a concrete block in the nose to restore balance!
