@edutooters Anyone got a succinct resource for the Oxford comma? I’m in the thick of grading midterm English Composition I essays, and I’m only seeing a few instances in this cohort of students, but the specific students are going to need to read something that’s not written by me. Does that make sense? As in, I’ve gone over this in class, but they need it explained a diff way to get it. TIA.

Am I the only one who uses the inimitable @aliceroberts for illustrating English composition? Thanks to her excellent description and utilization of Dig Diaries, I was able to show my students differences between personal diaries, journals, and reading or research logs, and why what she’s calling a Dig Diary is how they should think of what goes into their reading/research log for their upcoming research essay.
