Re parsnips, I didn't grow up eating them - I suppose I'd seen them referenced in books, but I had never eaten them. I discovered how tasty they are on a visit to the Imperial War Museum in #London (of all places!) when I grabbed a bite to eat at the (extremely good and highly recommended) museum cafe. How's that for random?
