I'm one of many local #volunteers who do invasive removal work on a year round basis. We depend on ppl to report sightings w/GPS info so we can go remove. We need ppl to ask florists to educate customers who buy these plants about dangers & being responsible with disposal.

English Ivy working its way up from the ground layer and slowly choking a tree. I've seen old oaks and white pines covered up to 20 or 30 meters and more. Perhaps you've seen a tree almost completely smothered until just the very topmost branches remain viable. treesatlanta.org has good instructions to remove.
