I should add that by #cycling I mean trundling about on a step-through-frame #DutchBike (i.e. a modern #EnglishRoadster) with drum brakes and hub gears, while wearing normal clothes, as a day to day mode of transport. Not zooming about in lycra terrorising the countryside on some drop handlebar torture machine as a hobby/sport.
We seriously need to make it easier to live without cars as a matter of urgency, and yes I back @TheWarOnCars
