Along with the lie of #EnlightenedCentrism, another narrative that we must push back on in earnest is with #ChristianNationalism. If you want to say that my genetic heart defect is part of God’s perfect plan that’s fine idgaf. But why aren’t queer people or universal healthcare also? The lord works in mysterious ways, does he not? So what is Christian Nationalist intervention but a profound lack of faith in God’s plan? If these people believed in God, they’d trust him a bit more, dontcha think?
