I rather like that #EnolaHolmes outfoxes both of her brothers. That is one of the central conceits of the (book) series, of course.

I was only supposed to be reading one, in a hospital waiting room, in place of reading the successor to Rotherweird. I've read the whole box set.

Only occasionally does it sport the usual fault of a U.S. author getting 19th century England gratingly and blatantly wrong.

I must find the last 2 books, oddly not in the box set despite it having MBB on the cover.

On a bit of a #ShelockHolmes kick at the moment. been listening to the original stories via #Audible, double-billed #EnolaHolmes this morning, and now I'm having an evening double feature of RDJ's film version.

Enola Holmes was actually better than I expected. Not amazing, but I'm glad there's an actual good mainstream female-led YA mystery series out there.

It's leagues better than that latest Nancy Drew movie, at least.

I might even check out the novels in the future.
