Was ich sehr schätze ist, dass ich den Tresor nicht in fremde Hände geben muss. Bei #Bitwarden ist das meines Wissens nur möglich wenn man das ganze selber hostet.

@phpmacher als eigenständige App kenne ich #2FA #Authenticator. Funktioniert und ist nicht Google und wenn ich mich recht erinnere #OpenSource.

Selber nutze ich #Enpass als #Passwort Manager, der kann auch #OTP. Daher nutze ich diese eine App. Auf vielen Systemen verfügbar, großer Funktionsumfang, funktioniert zuverlässig, sync u.a. über webdav.
Als früher Nutzer habe ich Funktionen die heute kosten würden :) Trotzdem kann ich das nur empfehlen.

Totally happy with KeePassDX on Android and KeePassXC on Windows. Enpass was polished, but they rely on a subscription model that I dread and, even thought I was an old costumer and got the Pro version before they pivoted to the sub model, I still had to activate the app every time I reinstalled. I would be royally fucked if that validation stopped working for whatever reason, so hurrah for open source software.

So the #Bitwarden import from #EnPass absolutely requires the .JSON format otherwise it totally fucks up the import process.

DO NOT use .CSV format for the import process. Seriously just don't.

Bitwarden and puts all the imported passwords into a non-password field so they can't be actually used 😆😂

I'm experimenting with Bitwarden again to see if I can resolve the issues I had with Android previously.

Seems to be working well enough on Windows 10 but Android, along with most Password Managers, is very hit and miss.

#Bitwarden was a disaster on Android 12 and 13 so is a non starter.
