Finally moving on for from #podkicker after many years of happy use. It's simple, kind of old school linux-like in its UI (remember 'snd'?)

But it got bought last year, and has slowly been #enshitified to the point where I'm ready to ditch. I even bought the dang thing I liked it so much back in the day...

#antennapod seems about as simple a replacement as any, and it's FOSS.

I tried a few desktop options when my phone went phlooie, but it's hard to carry.

@yerald @Julie I'm happy with #qwant for now. As you say a real breath of fresh air after the #enshitified #google #bing and indeed #duckduckgo .

@interglossa @JamesGleick @pluralistic, I'm sure the two Ts are deliberate. It would be usual in an English word for there to be two there. Think of words like batter or twitter. I don't think there would be two Ts in #enshitify or #enshitified, though. #enshittification
