Our new paper is finally out. We demonstrate that air quality samplers are quietly collecting eDNA and may have been measuring terrestrial biodiversity for decades. Fantastic MSc student Nina's first paper is out. She was able to document almost every species of bat in a complex tropical artificial "cave" community just by collecting their #eDNA in the air. There is tremendous potential in this new tool we're developing and we are very excited. New prototype samplers are simple and inexpensive.
