I absolutely agree Schools and gardens are a perfect match if allowed to be. Our council has been offering grants for eg parent councils to apply for food growing project support, it is a breath of fresh air.
Getting kids outdoors and connected to their environment and food is vital.

During the rainy season it can absorb 1,000's of gallons of water enabling it to produce a nutrient-dense fruit in the dry season.

This is how it became known as “The Tree of Life”.
