Our #CausalMethods in #envsci workshop is over! Thanks to all our participants for presentations and for excellent discussions. Recordings of the presentation will be released in due course via https://www.cmes.info and if you would like to be involved DM for an invite to our Slack channel.
With #COP27 and the inevitable armchair comments on "#population pressures," now feels like as good a time as any to remind everyone that "#overpopulation" is a horrible word that should never be used.
I don't notice it as much now with #economists thankfully, but #publichealth, #envsci & #anthropologists more.
Some folks out there are really #Thanos in an academic disguise.
There are a ton of viable & high-impact #climate & #redistribution solutions. We have to decide to do them.
