The Palace hotel holds a special place in the heart of cardiac Electrophysiologists (#EPeeps), as this was the preferred location for Josephson and Wellens course… where advanced trainees are cloistered for 4 days, to be humbled but very, very difficult EKG tracings…
I remember being very focused on the work, but thinking, that’s a pretty cool painting in the bar.

#EPeeps and Fellows, do you have a unique ECG case to share? Reach out to
@JAFIB_EP's ECG Challenge Editors @SergioPinski or @adribaran today! to submit your case to our Open Access digital journal 'for EPs by EPs'.
#EPeeps: suggested VT therapies for ICD implant in LVAD patients via the group at Kansas City.
#EPeeps poll and excuse to try polling on Mastodon. Do you think there’s value in re-posting well-liked older EP related posts from Twitter on Mastodon? Thanks.
#EPeeps and LB gurus. Annoying situation. Beautiful unipolar V1 morphology with terminal R wave with VVI pacing. When Bipolar, great emergence of terminal R wave with lower pacing output. Short LAT with both…
But with ApVp, the terminal R wave disappears. Sometimes this can be fixed by decreasing the AVI, but sometimes not. What’s the deal??
Does the LB get partially activated with A pacing? I’ve seen this with CHB and also in pts with SSS.
SubToot (if that is a word?):
Love the enthusiasm for pacing approaches to HFpEF… expecting referrals for this… BUT, I hope this is reflected in revision of the draconian national and local coverage decisions for PM implant that go beyond “symptomatic bradycardia.”
If Mastodon is for building one’s “brand”, let mine be bad Cardiac Electrophysiology puns... for now I will copy some of my previous posts on that other social media site.
Hey #EPeeps, what’s the most common tachycardia in chickens?

Attempted LBAP, but suboptimal morphologies at proximal, basal locations along RV septum. Ultimately best success with distal lead placement.
Suspect left posterior fasicular capture. #EPeeps? Good enough to mitigate risk of pacing cardiomyopathy?
What is the proper response when the anesthesiologist uses the J word to describe a gen change? #EPeeps
Just started @gruber ‘s latest ep of The Talk Show, centering on the crippling of the Twitter API…
I must confess a new feeling of exhilaration to populate this undiscovered country of Mastodon for #EPeeps. Resolved to share more “everyday” thoughts about Medicine, with on-brand gallows humor and sarcasm.
@MGKatz036 Yes except there doesn’t seem to be #EPeeps community anywhere else

#EPeeps Valuable to have cardiac radioablation as a backup for this patient with dense septal substrate and frequent VT despite several poorly tolerated ablations. Thanks to @PennRadOnc@twitter.com for the collaboration and to @DoctorPhillEP@twitter.com and @SBRT_CR@twitter.com for paving the way @PennEPFellows@twitter.com
