For the #thesealeychallenge I read #Ephemeron by Fiona Benson. Loved this book, especially the retelling of the Pasiphaë myth. She gives voice to figures that were often forgotten in the big myths. Her insect poems creep me out though as they are so vivid and visceral. Her writing is strong and unflinching, the pain of being a mother, a woman and a child.
