Dreams
Here we are all, by day; by night we're hurled/By dreams, each one, into a several world.
- Robert Herrick (1591–1674)
The two-line poem of the epigrammatic Herrick. A song from our less mature years, music that brings a smile to your lips in the autumn years.
I finally realized I'd never checked the "bot" checkbox on @epigram's account, because I don't think it existed when I first set up that account.
...and then I had to reset the password, because apparently I never wrote it down, oops....
...and then while I was there, I updated the info and spruced it up a bit.
...and maybe now is the time to get some ideas for how to update the content! A lot of the text is rather dated...
more #epigram:
Once upon a time, the hideous slime walked clumsily into the World Trade Center and forgot the White House. Arnold Schwarzenegger slithered mercilessly along the wood and mangled the national trade deficit. Pooh and Piglet crawled precariously along the river and beside the White House. "Great protracted rodental magnification techniques!", they exclaimed.
The End.
(...and now, I should start dinner.)
So I've got a simple command-line version of #epigram written. Sample output from one of the masks:
<paste>
Great cancerous parallel transportation centers!
Holy horny-toaded granola enumeration disassemblage!
Holy antiquarian mortality transportation drivers!
</paste>
Now I just need to figure out how to turn this into a bot...
(Also, would be nice to have more than just "Great" and "Holy" for the first word. "Amazing", "Astounding", and "Unearthly" never quite worked out.)
This has helped me, over the years, to respond with kindness.
“He drew a circle that shut me out-
Heretic , rebel, a thing to flout.
But love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle and took him In!
