This is a weirdly written article and I don't entirely trust it, but if parts of it are true, they might be reported in more reputable outlets like Coindesk or similar eventually: #EpikFail's current CEO Brian Royce said that former Epik CEO Rob Monster has to “repay the debt he owes the company”, and the customer was warned that further negative coverage could “force Epik into bankruptcy, resulting in a massive suit against Rob”.
