#Gnome default software is becoming so good: particularly, #Epiphany is becoming better every year, I wish it had #Firefox addons or at least containers and userscripts like #qutebrowser

The term «workspace» in #GNOME is a little misleading sometimes. It’s completely OK, and sometimes even preferrable, to use multiple workspaces for a single task. An example that comes to mind is my illustration workflow: #Inkscape mazimized in one workspace, and #Nautilus, #Epiphany, and sometimes #AppIconPreview, in another. Workflows like this one will become much more convenient with the planned window management changes. Try to see if you can do your tasks similarly!

I wish #webkit - that I like remember having sprouted from #KDE - had a wider place on the web. OK #apple and #gnome #epiphany use it but the list of unusable site with them is sadly too long! 😢

Hm am I the only one who feels like the new "Tab Overview" of #libadwaita is far from usable in #epiphany / #gnome web?

I know most of them are technical limitations and or more usable on different form-factors (like mobile). I'm also not against the concept in general. I just can't find a reason to ever use/enjoy it on the desktop/tablet.

1. Epi does have a "recent visited" 3x3 grid for new tabs that looks just about the same as the tab overview.

It's always beneficial to be where you should be at that exact time. Three hours too soon is better than a minute too late. Le nuove "background apps" nel "quick settings menu" non sono ancora un rimpiazzo valido delle tray icons. penso anche che sia fondamentalmente un errore che le app in background appaiano nei quick settings, quando GNOME ha una notification area che dovrebbe servire proprio a questo. Ma lasciamo perdere le tray icon e parliamo della vera rivoluzione: GNOME Web (aka #Epiphany) è finalmente utilizzabile come browser alternativo a Firefox. Si riesce addirittura a guardare YouTube... MAGIA NERA! 😮

@SRAZKVT @iro_miya #servo seems to be still in the sidelines. i tried to run it before. it works but it's just a browser window with no other features. hoping it will get adoption soon rather than #firefox just getting some components here and there. i tried #epiphany before but it was in #opensuse so i had issues with codecs. #flatpak is the way then
