So dad’s funeral went well. There were a few little glitches:
1) Please make sure your service ordos are for the funeral and not for the upcoming Sunday service;
2) I would suggest making relative announcements before the service begins in order to avoid unnecessary sit-stand-sit-stand awkwardness;
3) If you want everyone to sing the final hymn, do the dismissal afterward rather than beforehand so you don’t have an empty church with music.
