I promise, there are far better ways to evaluate 501c3s than reading a year-end audit or looking at a 990.

@charlesornstein @asuozzo @ProPublica Eh, reviewing taxes from 501c3s is less telling than looking up who sits on the board and who holds leadership level positions.
Do the people calling the shots look like they represent the people they are trying to help? Probably a good investment.
Are the top level decision makers a sea of white faces? It’s more likely their work is still rooted in systems of oppression.
