I learned yesterday from someone who keeps tabs on my Internet presence more than I do that a group of people launched a targeted campaign last year to erase references to my work on the Internet. My Wikipedia page was deleted last summer. And someone even stole my name and my logo and claimed it as their own to bury me in the search results. I despondently turned to drinking lots of beer last night. I'm not proud of that, since I try to stay sober these days. But imagine if something you put seven years of your life into, working sixteen hour days, was erased by jackals.

Fortunately, a number of friends and kind acquaintances have reached out to help me. They KNOW people. It turns out that I am more loved and connected than I knew. And we are going to fight this thing.

Be very careful with the work that you put out there, folks. There are sociopaths out there who want to erase you and your accomplishments. They can't make anything. So they live to destroy.

the hippocampus no longer employed.

Yet deeply encoded childhood memories remain almost intact
Stories of wartime evacuation or Major the dog; she retells them all matter of fact.

With memories they say it's “last in, first out” when there’s no emotional attachment engrained.
