What do you say we start the day with an Iraqi 🇮🇶 sunrise, or better Iraq-Kurdish sunrise.
Morning view from my hotel in Erbil. When I landed in Iraq I didn’t expect to find a city like Erbil. What you hear in the media is so scary, one expects the worst. Instead I found a vibrant city, beautiful historical (an amazing citadel) sites and plenty of friendly people. That being said, Erbil is a safe haven in a war torn country.

twitter explodiert, sieht sich im 3. weltkrieg und verbreitet erstmal panik.

auch hier nochmal:

nein, die amis sind nicht GEZWUNGEN zu einem gegenschlag. solange menschen irgendwie aktiv werden müssen, ist NICHTS unausweichlich. auch die usa treffen entscheidungen - oft ziemlich beschissene, aber entscheidungen.

das rumschwadronieren von "die welt geht unter", 3. weltkrieg, diesdas hilft genau niemanden, versetzt aber unnötig menschen in panik. n
noch dazu zu nem zeitpunkt wo noch nicht wirklich klar ist was eigentlich los ist.

Turkey likes that.

I do admit I was angry when it turned out that I wouldn’t be allowed to grab a taxi to the city and spend a week or so with the delegation from Europe that came to try to de-escalate tensions between the #PKK and the #KDP.
