Mapping mouse keys to the previously rarely-used keys at the outer edges of the thumb clusters is a huge convenience boost. For longer and more involved mousing around I still have the mouse key layer which puts the mouse keys in more convenient locations, but for short little mouse tasks being able to move the pointer and click without switching layers is pretty great. Changed up my keyboard #ergodoxez at home to have a one key setup for my #tmux prefix (ctrl+t), so I have the two key combo, but one key I have to press https://configure.zsa.io/ergodox-ez/layouts/DAJBK/latest/0/33/

I like Ergodox-EZ's sculpted keycaps, which give me the illusion my keyboard is slightly curved. But I somehow lost three of them, and as far as I can tell they don't sell individual replacements, so I'm stuck with some leftovers from another set.
