I read (listened) this article on the New Yorker on the way in to school today. It's about the new mayor of New York, Eric Adams and... It's contents are a bit disturbing, painting a picture of a Trump-esque former Republican supposedly turned Democrat. I say supposedly because by all appearances all the man cares about is himself and he lies -- lies like a modern GOP candidate. Worth a read.

Mayor #EricAdams needs to go down to Battery park, look south across the harbor, look at that shining, green statue out there... and think about the words engraved on her pedestal. Think about who we are, what we've been proud of for longer than he's been alive, and who the homeless, tempest-tost are.

Those yellow flyers he's sending out are a disgrace to #NewYorkCity. And so is he.
