I'm about 25% into the novel "Doppler" by Erlend Loe (English translations by Don Bartlett and Don Shaw). It's humorous and quirky and an easy read, and so far I'm enjoying it quite a lot!

Started on a 24” and allowed myself the upgrade when I could cycle to work without touching the ground with my feet
