Yes, scAmazon have a thing called #ESRI maps that is just as bad, given we block #technoFeudalists. Truth be told ESRI actually blocks us because we use #TorBrowser, but the feeling is mutual 😉.

Dear @smallcircles, is there an instance of this #organicMaps that is not #cloudGlare (we block cloudFlare and organicMaps.app is regrettably cf'd).

We really like #OsmAND offline #maps. It'd be great to have a comparable app for #foss desktops.

The response from #Esri support contained 5 "workarounds" for their web adaptor not doing the only job it exists to do.

None have worked.

The web adaptor has gone down 32 times in 24 hours under modest loads.

Still using #ArcGIS Enterprise as best we can in spite of sporadic blips in connectivity, but alternatives are actively being investigated.

Can't wait for #FOSS4GNA to attend the #GeoNode / #GeoServer sessions!

@rony I know #esri is really pushing knowledge graphs these days, and they have a whole suite of tools for working with them. No personal experience working with them, though.

Okay, so we moved past Error 999999, now we're getting Error 000584: Implementation of this Tool's Validate is invalid.

Description: The tool's validation process is not valid.

Solution: This error typically only occurs in a custom tool. Contact the tool's developer for more assistance.

This is no custom tool, this is a GP tool that's been in #ArcGIS for ages! I'm just trying to build a locator! #ESRI, YOU are the developer here! Give me a meaningful error code! 😤

I always say that the #ParcelFabric is worth sticking with #ESRI, but flipping HELL, I am so sick of opaque, senseless errors.

Run a tool -> success.
Run same tool, same inputs, on a different day -> ERROR 999999

Literally nothing has changed between prior runs and this. Except for my level of patience with this increasingly common scenario.

Keep pushin' me, I'm gonna just FOSS the whole stack out of rage.

What an absolute train wreck of a day. One of our #ArcGIS Pro #ParcelFabric datasets that's been running (nearly) without issue for 2 years, and which has had no significant changes made to it in months, decided to start throwing an error today.

In true #esri fashion, the error message contained no useful information whatsoever.

"TABLE NOT FOUND".

Except that all the tables I expect to see are there, I can query and edit them. I just can't click this one particular button...
