The take home point point. The bottom two layers (and possibly the first) are mutually independent: so high self-confidence goes with low self-esteem and vice versa. A high degree of self-confidence is apt to make 3rd parties assume correspondingly high level of self-esteem. This is a dangerous inference. Self-confidence, but not self-esteem might implicate #knowledge.
