The E Street Band put on an exuberant show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, last night. It had minimal shtick and lots of music, one song after the other from a deep catalog, including "Kitty's Back" (the horn section! Bruce's string-bending!), "Trapped" (just like in '92) and a poignant "Letter to You." I went to concerts by both Elton John and Bruce Springsteen this year. One of the greatest joys there was seeing members of their respective bands, who've been with them for 50 years and played on their biggest records. Hearing Davey Johnstone's guitar or Max Weinberg's drums is reliving history and an honor in itself. The love and respect their leaders give them, the long friendship between musicians, truly moved me

Ein Konzert mit Bruce Springsteen und der E Street Band ist und bleibt eine Rock'n'Roll Offenbarung. Jeder Mensch, der nur annähernd einen Hang zur Musik hat, sollte das mindestens einmal im Leben gesehen/gehört haben. Ach und nicht zu spät kommen, es wird vernutlich keine Vorband geben.

Gestern um diese Uhrzeit waren @kosmowestfaelin und ich bei #BruceSpringsteen in Düsseldorf, und es war ein wirklich wunderbarer Abend. Es war toll zu sehen, wie viele Menschen (mich eingeschlossen) dieses #Konzert richtig glücklich gemacht hat und wie generationenüberfreifend das so war. Eigentlich kein Wunder bei so vielen Hits über so lange Zeit. Und ich hab echt Respekt davor, was er und die #estreetband in ihrem fortgeschrittenen Alter dabei abreißen! 💚

My first time The Boss, and simply the best concert I've been too. He's in his 70's and still going strong for 3,5 hours without break. Can only wish to still have that energy by the time I'm that old 😅.
