@itnewsbot Well, depends on the case, right? I used #Etar on #LineageOS before and it works however UI it is quite limited for my taste (it could be better). I have been using Simple Calendar (https://github.com/SimpleMobileTools/Simple-Calendar) for a while and it is almost perfect.

@torspedia Regarding compatibility, I think as long as the server supports CalDAV you can use almost any app on any device. I heard that even Google Calendar supports CalDAV, so in principle if you only want to change the apps then you can keep using your account.
My calendar server is a #Nextcloud that I'm self-hosting on a VPS with #YunoHost. On Android I use the calendar app (#Etar) that I had pre-installed in LineageOS, with #DAVx5 from F-Droid. On the desktop I don't have anything (using the Nextcloud web UI from Firefox) but I would expect Thunderbird or your desktop environment's default calendar app to work fine.

I just switched to Etar calendar app. It works well, scrolls across months and is open source.
I also added Calendar Toolbox that displays all calendars in your phone and lets you delete them or create new ones. Delete is a missing Android command.

Malgrat que #Tutanota disposa de calendari, i que l'uso, ahir vaig estar fent canvis al mòbil. M'hi vaig instal·lar #Etar i a través del #Caldav he enllaçat el calendari del #nextcloud i també els altres calendaris de la feina.

Auf meinem Smartphone (OnePlus 9 mit Stock-ROM und Google-Diensten, nicht gerootet) crasht seit Android 12 immer beim Aufrufen sowohl die AOSP-Kalender-App als auch dessen Fork #etar. Lustigerweise starten die Apps immer dann, wenn ich die Kalenderberechtigung entziehe, was aber in Anbetracht der Vernwendung der Apps wenig Sinn ergibt.

Weiß hier jemand zufälligerweise Abhilfe?
