It's #MetalFriday, and I'd like to share this #1979 album by a US band called #Legend.

FROM THE FJORDS is an uneven album, but there's stuff in there that a lot of metalheads wouldn't really get into until at least a decade or two later, like Viking themes.

The album starts off strong with "The Destroyer", a fantasy-themed track from a war god's viewpoint. Fans of #EternalChampion might have gotten their version when their PARALLEL OF DEATH tape was still available.

With #TimeAndTiranny, #Konquest released one hell of an album, if you're a little bit into the epic and very traditional part of #heavymetal

It's one one of these albums, that bring you back the good old #conan atmosphere, much in the veins of other bands like #eternalchampion

The #Troika RPG is being Kickstarted for a new edition, and one thing that made me go, "You don't say?" is that they list Jerry Cornelius as one of the game's influences. Now, I was big fan of #MichaelMoorcock 's surrealist/tech messiah/temporal agent/psychedelic discordian assassin.

Not having played Troika before, is this a fair summary of what might be going on there? The intro vid and artwork look decidedly more fantasy. Maybe more #EternalChampion than purely Jerry Cornelius?

We are now into the Hs of the Great Comic Book Re-inventorying Initiative and this book is the 1st to have its own section.

The #EternalChampion series by #MichaelMoorcock contains more than just #Elric, and all of them should be required reading by any #SciFi and #Fantasy fan.

#Hawkmoon is a great series and reading it in comic book form really adds to the story. I mean who doesn't like a post-nuclear future where it's all science & sorcery?😁
