A voluntary group I'm part of uses a world-writeable Google spreadsheet to co-ordinate a rota, in the absence of a usable alternative (dates in the unmaintained #Ethercalc seem to be broken).

Trying to edit a Google Sheet in a mobile web browser directs you to install/use Google's #proprietary Drive app. But I have found a workaround.

Reload the #spreadsheet in desktop mode, edit the URL to remove the /htmlview#gid=0 suffix, and enter to reload. The sheet reloads in editable form.

@fyrfli with a collaborative spreadsheet, you are "programming" in the most accessible way currently possible. why abandon it over #Google or some missing last-mile scripting customization?

I say #Ethercalc is a good replacement, there are many free services providing it. It doesn't have encryption, but maybe you could self-host it or look for a service that lets you use it only via VPN. or #Cryptpad services, which are encrypted - paying cryptpad.fr for hosting your data would fund them too.

Estamos haciendo una encuesta para saber qué opinan de cambiar definitivamente de Framadate y EtherCalc a CryptPad.

Framadate (nuestra solución para encuestas) dejará de ser activamente desarrollada por Framasoft. Adicionalmente, CryptPad también incluye una aplicación para realilzar encuestas en un entorno seguro (cifrado).

Nos gustaría saber qué piensan acerca de la posibilidad de un cambio definitivo de Framadate a CryptPad (lo que significa que el primero ya no sería más parte de los servicios).

1. Me parece que es una buena idea hacer el cambio.
2. Mmm... No me parece una buena idea, lo uso un montón.

También el desarrollo de EtherCalc ha estado virtualmente paralizado durante los últimos cuatro años (lo que es mucho tiempo en el campo del desarrollo de software). En contraste, CryptPad ha venido desarrollándose activamente e incluye una aplicación para hojas de cálculo con una cantidad de funcionalidades muy útiles y la vetaja de correr en un entorno cifrado con cero conocimiento por parte del servidor.

Así que también nos gustaría saber qué piensan sobre cambiar definitivamente de EtherCalc a las hojas de cáculo de CryptPad (igual que antes, este cambio implicaría dejar de proveer el primero).

1. Me parece que es una buena idea. Cambiemos.
2. Mala idea, dejen las cosas como están.

@Aisyk effectivement il semble très intéressant ce #LuckySheet en remplacement de #Ethercalc (dont #Framacalc), il a l'air bien plus utilisable.
