Something I've noticed is that, fundamentally, tech from as far back as 2010 is still pretty useful nowadays (provided all the consumables are in good shape/replaced.) More and more, I'm looking at the used/refurb market in a positive light. This old tech just works and all the kinks are ironed out.

Not to point fingers, but migrating to really kicked this entire reflection off. Using Linux has been a great experience, but it only illustrated what actually looks like. A computer should be a tool, an appliance, that I use for work, entertainment, and connection, not a device that rules my life and attention.
