I've just found out that the #ACM and #IEEE have a joint Software Engineering Code (https://ethics.acm.org/code-of-ethics/software-engineering-code/).

Check this out:
1.03. Approve software only if they have a well-founded belief that it is safe, meets specifications, passes appropriate tests, and does not diminish #QualityOfLife, diminish privacy or harm the #environment. The ultimate effect of the work should be to the #PublicGood.

The world is clearly failing to prepare for the upcoming revolution of AI tech.

We're only seeing the very beginning of the applications of AI in creative industries and our elected reps need to focus on legislating for AI and related threats to labour.

A toot about myself. I am working in the #dataanalytics sector. Supporting #marketing and #developers building businesses for scale. I think there is a thing like #ethicsintech and marketing. I do not need to know personal #data to build a perfect experience.
I believe that 90% or more optimization potential sleeps inside of the none personal data. It is just rarely looked at because that data doesn‘t exist in the common maketing tools.
