The White Washing of History.

Enrique of Malacca was a slave and the first human known to have circumnavigated the earth.

Enrique was purchased by Ferdinand Magellan when Enrique was 14. Enrique was captured by the Portuguese in Malacca but he spoke the language of the people of Limasawa Island in what is now the Philippines.

Magellan died in what are now the Philippine islands without circling the Globe and Enrique (not his birth name) didn't get back on the Portuguese ships after the Portuguese sailors got their asses kicked severely by the Islanders.

He had circumnavigated the globe when he reached the chain of islands where he came from.
I don't know if he set Magellan and his men up to get slaughtered but they were murdering slavers so I hope he did.
