This lion pride was resting, even the cubs, except for the one cub on top of the rock who had been trying to get the others to play. Suddenly the two female adult lions saw some Springbok that came to the water on the other side of the rock and they moved into high alert positions. One of the Springbok caught sight of the cub on top of the rock and they made their escape.
