Finally, as a last intro, I am a #university #professor and chair for the #ETSU Department of #Media and #Communication. Here's a pic of me at a bookplate dedication event at our library last month. That's me (tan coat) with my book and two of my colleagues, who were recently tenured and/or promoted. I got a promotion to full professor last year.

Introduction. I'm the head curator at the #GrayFossilSite, #ETSU. I do #paleontology of #quaternary #mammals like extinct #proboscideans (mastodons...err... #Mammut). #Bison and #mammoth too, but only on Thursdays.
I'm fascinated with the #paleoecology of places around me--whether #GreatPlains and #prairies or high elevation #Appalachian #GrassyBalds.
My past life in #archaeology pops up quite often--whether the origins of North American #dogs or #megafaunal #extinctions.
