If you have not tried the latest @thunderbird, do it. I've practically switched to it from Outlook. I don't need ActiveSync. IMAP works just fine. Thunderbird isn't Eduora, but it's getting better!

Brother: You do realize Thunderbird is scheduled for a major overhaul this year.

So I looked it up. It seems sensible, justified, and long overdue. Fine.

Articles say the new UI will be more customizable. Cool. I want it to look like Eudora.

And I want it to act like Eudora. Store the email directories as a single copyable, searchable text file. Store all attachments in a single directory where I can do mass deletions.

That's all I really want. 😢

@dankennedy_nu Sure. Use a decent email client on your desktop computer! If you can find one. I would gladly go back to #Eudora if it were still live, updated, and good. Its searching and sorting functions were wonderful.

Auch wenn ich bisher viele gute E-Mail-Clients genutzt habe und gerade z.B. mit Apple Mail recht zufrieden bin: Das alte Eurdora-Feeling vermisse ich bis heute.
