Does anyone know if we can hack #eufycam for personal benefit?

I'm looking to automate when it detects someone coming in it triggers the on switch of my smart light bulb.

I already have two doorbell cams that point directly at the sidewalk. This one will point at my house instead. I'm going to mount it above head height so it won't catch the faces of people walking on the sidewalk, except maybe far away in the corners. It's a #eufycam so the video stays on my LAN, stored on a HDD in my house.

Unsolicited Eufy 2FA email received this morning. I wasn't even awake yet.

I have a random, unique, strong password for my Eufy camera account. Emailed-code 2FA enabled as that's the best they've got. Doubt I was phished, and have no reason to believe my password vault is compromised.

Is there more to the Eufy security saga? Or just an system email glitch? #eufy #eufycam #eufysecurity

Supposedly this thing will be able to manage my #EufyCam #EufyCam2 and #EufyDoorbell!

It claims to have "BionicMind™ #AI" too, which I'm hoping means that it will make the doorbells able to recognize me and my partner's faces.

What to do with all your Eufy stuff. This is the 2nd 'scandal' they've had in a short period. The last one was people seeing the wrong cameras and sensors after logging in. I wonder if the two problems are related.
