I kept saying this was going to happen and even #CovidCautious people told me I was "spiraling," and that "this would never happen in a blue state," and now we're already here. We're already seeing pushes to get rid of masks in public places in the name of "security."

This is pure #ableism and #eugenics and essentially an outright ban on all immunocompromised people and those who still care about #covid from essential services.

The profound ableism present in so many people who claim to be allies just makes me so sad right now. Like curl up in a blanket and cry for 3 days sad. If you are asking a disabled person to explain why you are ableist, also please consider that a lot of us have minimal energy reserves for even the most basic of things and you are literally removing those from us by making those demands as well. It took a long thought before even confronting you with problematic statements in the first place. Also, please just wear a fucking instead of debating that they might not work.
