Ah yeah, but the day to day running will be fine, right. No, it absolutely won't be.

#FRAND and #SEP negogiations are hugely valuable and complex. They lead to massive, evidence-packed, and commercially sensitive patent lawsuits that are a nightmare. (Google "unwired planet frand")

The #EU body allocated in the new proposal to consider this all, is called the #EUIPO. It has done precisely no patent-related work to date.

#Apple sostiene che gli utenti sarebbero stati così #idioti da confondere il nome #ApellaGames con il nome #Apple.

Fortunatamente l'ufficio brevetti #EUIPO (Ufficio Dell'Unione Europea Per La Proprietà Intellettuale) ha stabilito che le persone non sono così #idiote, anche perchè #apella era anche il nome del consiglio nell'antica #Sparta.

Has anybody from the #openGLAM bubble any experience with the #EUIPO portal (especially for out-of-commerce/orphaned works)? Is there any way to get access to the data apart from the web interface (limited to a handful of entries) and the excel-download (limited to 1000 entries with limited data). In the interest of transparency and usability, there should be another way, shouldn't it?
