The European games in Krakow were unlike every other competition I have ever competed in!
The biggest difference to normal competitions was the Athletes' village: all the 2000 athletes, competing in 28 disciplines, lived together in a couple of buildings right next to each other!
The next big difference was the opening ceremony: It was huge! All of us walked into the completely filled stadium one nation after the other. It was a great experience which cannot be explained in words.

Nachdem sich das dt. 7er #Rugby Team (Herren) gestern gegen Italien schwer getan hat (letzte Aktion führt zum Versuch von It. und damit zum draw 19:19), konnten sie abends Polen souverän schlagen (47:0).
Heute gegen 14 Uhr geht es gegen Irland, wo ein Sieg eine Sensation wäre. Trotzdem werden sie als wahrscheinlich Pool-2. weiterkommen und dann (heute Abend?) gegen Team GB. Selbst wenn sie dies gewinnen geht es dann gegen Spanien im Halbfinale.
