TIL: All of the honeybees in the USA… are immigrants. The “European Honeybee” was brought to North America in the 1600’s and they are doing just fine, being domesticated farm animals. There are plenty of farmers looking out for their honeybees because they are an integral part of the agriculture industry. It’s the 19,999 OTHER BEE SPECIES that need our help!
