Many #Tories like Cornwall MP “Useless” #Eustice are now seeing the writing on the proverbial electoral wall - likely annihilation at the next election by the carbon-copy #RedTory @UKLabour Party (unless there’s a united #StopStarmer tactical voting effort to ensure he doesn’t get a massive majority)!

Like him, they’re jumping ship into cushy jobs within sectors of the economy they had responsibility to regulate (but largely didn’t) & in businesses within those sectors which they should have ensured were properly held to account but, because we now inhabit a neoliberal ‘plunderland’ of a country, they didn’t either!

I know #Eustice fought hard (or at least someone leaked stories he did), was subject to collective responsibility etc, but this is just bullshit

You don’t get to play your part in trashing the country, take a big cheque for your ministerial gig, & then turn around later & say “it wasn’t my fault”

If it was that bad, he should have resigned
